Fox has finally decided to make a solo Deadpool feature film, scheduling it’s release for February 12th 2016.  Many will claim this decision reflects the overwhelmingly positive reception of the recently “leaked” Deadpool test footage.

With such an early release date, I would expect the movie to go into production soon with more information to follow shortly.

In other Fox news, Assassin’s Creed has been bumped, as Michael Fassbender’s passion project seems to be stuck in development.  Its former slot of August 7th 2015 has been gifted to the Fantastic Four reboot, which was originally scheduled for release on June 19th 2015.
