While the Motion Picture Club has a large number of written reviews on our website, we feel as if we are lacking in other forms of content. We do not wish to abandon our written pieces, but we would like to incorporate alternative forms of informative entertainment for our viewers. We have recently started a podcast, but we would like to add video and audio reviews as well. The problem is that our current reviewers do not have the enough free time to produce the content we would like to have up on the website. That is why we are putting out a casting call of sorts.
The Motion Picture Club is looking to increase the amount of content on our website. Specifically, we are looking for reviews in video or audio format. However, we would also like to add more podcasters, artists, and musicians. In time, we would like to host web series.
The MPC can offer you a place to host your content, as well as the equipment and software necessary to yield the best product you have to offer. We have cameras, microphones, green screens, basic lighting, and video/audio editing software.
If you have an idea for content, we ask that you send us a sample of your work if it is a written piece or a short clip if you are creating a visual/audio piece. If your content aligns with what we believe the MPC needs, we will bring you on as a content creator. Additionally, if you have the technical skills required to edit video and audio pieces, we could use your assistance.
